Indian Passport & OCI Photo Requirements (2x2 inches)

Photos for Indian passports, visas, and OCI (Overseas Citizen of India) cards must measure exactly 2 x 2 inches (51 x 51 mm). The head must be centered and measure between 1 inch and 1.38 inches (25 mm to 35 mm) from the chin to the top of the hair. The background must be plain, solid white or off-white with no shadows.

You must face the camera directly with a neutral facial expression: eyes open, mouth closed, and no smiling. Spectacles or eyeglasses are strictly prohibited in Indian visa and passport photos to avoid glare. Wear dark clothing to ensure good contrast against the white background; white clothing should be avoided.

Printing and Cutting 2x2 India Passport Sheets
